Can someone tell me the options I have to set / unset to be able to see mate dimensions?

I have everything selected in the Annotations folder.

View / Hide all types is unchecked

View / All annotations is checked

I still cant see mate distance dimensions.  There are wierd dimensions floating in space, but not the ones I need lol.

I found that you can double-click a mate to see its dimension.  But then it goes away when you click something else... How to keep it visible?
