i have a model in 3D which is combination of many surfaces like patches as shown in the picture (pelvis region).

i want to split a patch as shown below in the attached picture (the patches are rectangular and triangular in shape)

how to split the patch in coloured (consider A and B as diagonals of that coloured patch)
