Hi Everyone,

I've imported a STL file from Mimics into SolidWorks Premium 2013 as a "solid body" and I'm trying to modify it. I have to cut a section and then attach a circle flange into the main body, but I don't know how to do it properly. I've tried Split feature, but it's not working well for me. I know I can use "Extruded Cut" to cut the whole section all in one, but I don't know exactly how to do it. Does anyone know how to do it? I've attached my file with a screenshot of the object to show you which part of the object should be cut. If you can do it quickly please do it for me and explain it to me as well.
