How to create nice looking joint when the part needs to be cut into two pieces for 3D printing?

Hello, the part that I want to print is larger than the print volume of the printer. I need to cut it into two pieces. However, in the past, when I combined the pieces (created by cutting through the Right transverse plane), I saw a straight line gap at the junction. Is there a good way to eliminate that gap by design in SolidWorks rather than post-processing? Is a straight cut better than jigsaw or zig zag-like cut?
