I use to design some alluminium profiles and I create a note on the drawing to indicate the surface area. It helps for a quick costing.

Well, on my old software that note is a smart note that shows a variable value, and lets to keep it updated after any change.

Is it possible on SolidWorks? If yes, how can I make it possible?
