I"d like to create a conical shape where one end is not a circle but a slot shape. The final part would be sheet metal. It could be up to 8 pieces if necessary.

Is this possibly in solid works? I could also attempt this as octagonal, or decagonal. I am using SolidWorks 2014 BTW.

The final assembly is supposed to be a funnel for a large axial fan.
