whats the best way to assemble a bearing?

Way I do it is make a small flat cut on one of the brearing plates

then do coincident mate between the sketch I used for the sphere and edge of the cut

then ad tangency mate between flat sufrace and sphere

I know this is not right because the sphere and plate overlap but anybody have a better method at assembling a bearing?
