We produce eDrawing files from Pro/Engineer and our part numbers are 7-digit number. In Pro/E we have also many other fields like description, model, manufacturer but once in eDrawings format, the Components tab just displays a hierarchy of 7-digit part numbers with no clue of what the parts are.

Is it possible add the description (or another metadata) during the eDrawings generation so that it appears close to the part number in the Components tab?

Another option would be to replace the part number by the description or to concatenate part number and description.

Any help that would make the Components hierarchy more browsable would be appreciated.
