Is it possible to add a comment to a component in an assembly?

In the following image, I have a comment added to Rail T Plane.

Comment indicator is located before plane name and a Rail T comment is added to comments folder.

When I mouse over either of them I can see the comment details.

I need to add a comment to one of the components too.

If I right click the component, There's no comments menu.

If I right click the component and select edit, I have the comments context menu, but the comment is added in part level not assembly level.

How can I attach a comment to a component that is shown in assembly comments node?
