How to Add a thread size to the "Thread..." tool

I am trying to use the "Thread..." tool to create a 3/8-16 thread. I know I can override a default thread's OD and Pitch in the "Specification" section of the "Thread..." tool, but I would prefer to be able to select it from the drop down.

Solidworks for Makers most recent 2025 version

The issue is...

  1. In a drawing I "Cut Extrude" a hole .3125 OD through a solid
  2. "Insert"
  3. "Features"
  4. "Thread..."
  5. The "Thread" window opens
  6. I select the "Thread Location" etc. down to "Specification"
  7. Under "Type" I select "Inch Tap"
  8. Under "Size" I select... and this is where it falls apart...
  9. There is a 3/8-18 and a 3/8-24 but no 3/8-16 (3/8-UNC a VERY standard thread size in the US)
  10. I have tried several how-to videos on how to add it to Solidworks but nothing works (most likely my fault)
  11. I use the threads with 3D printing then chase them as needed.

Would someone guide me to a How-to on how to either add or adjust the default inch threads to include a 3/8-16
