I am using Solidworks Connected and am baffled by my inability to edit a linear sketch pattern.
One example, a rectangle is the basis of a cut extrude which is a rabbet joint. Repeated to a four count. Now I decide to change the depth of the rabbet, and do it in the first rectangle. All is good, except the 3 "copies" retain their original size. Obviously the idea of a pattern is the sameness of the duplicates.
This seems to be related that I see no way select the pattern for editing. I would expect when the pattern is selected only the seed pattern becomes visible, and at that point I edit the pattern properties. Maybe I just want to delete the feature, but I see no way to do that.
I know that when I begin to think the tool is rubbish that instead I am missing something fundamental. Linear patterns are conceptually so simple I must be missing the key point of how to edit them.
A related question: is there an option to make a sketch show a toggle open handle that would list all the operations used to create a sketch. At a minimum selecting a sketch component in it's tree would select the items in the drawing.
