I've not been able to find a very good answer for what exactly the "updates all configurations" flag in the File Data Card actually does.

It seems to me like you would click this if you wanted a custom property to propagate to all of the configurations, but it doesn't seem to work?

Can someone help me out here? I can't tell a difference with it on or off...
