Hi

Very new to Solidworks.

I would like to create a drawing containing several different parts that has different features on different layers, for example all the through holes of each part on one layer, and all the outside profiles on another. However when I select the through holes and then select the layer the geometry of the entire part is moved to that layer even if it is not selected.

How can select the individual features for layering?
