I am designing a tailing lug for a cylindrical pressure vessel, and would like to check the plate stresses with a bearing load applied to the lug at a 15° angle.

I am trying to model this using shell elements, but am constantly getting the following error:

"Bearing Load requires the selection of a coordinate system and set of cylindrical faces of same radii and the Z-axis of the coordinate system must be coincident with the axis of the cylindrical faces"

In the attached model, why can't I apply the bearing load on the lug using coordinate system 1?

(Note - I significantly dumbed-down the model to illustrate the issue - this is not the planned lug design)
