So, I've used Inventor for simple stuff for making quick prototypes but I never used FEA and Flow Simulation in my 4 years of high school. I'm finally in college and I've finally finished my Freshman CAD class which uses Solidworks. The last thing we learned was FEA and Flow Simulation, kinda. What we did is they gave us files that were already there, but we just had to run the simulation. At the end of the lesson he said that we haven't taught you everything you need to know to effectively use Flow Simulation and FEA which can both give false data that looks right. So what I was wondering is how do you get accurate readings from these simulations? How would you get correct data outputs?
One of the main reasons why I want to learn this is because I'd like to learn how to make a simple aircraft body. So how would I find the lift of a wing section and how would I find if the plane would be stable?
