Hi,

I'm trying to create a twisted metal strap... which must be parallel sided when flattened.

However, it needs to be twisted in a conical way. Similar to the attached images, but obviously when this is flattened, the sides are not parallel. I'm guessing I may need to model it flat and then roll it... but if so, how do I roll a non-consistent radius?

They are straps for a seat frame... see attached.

Any help would be much appreciated.
