For the past several releases of SolidWorks I have installed multiple versions of SolidWorks on the same computer and under the same user name. I am now attempting to install SW2014 SP5.0 and SW2015 SP0.0. One of the steps when installing multiple releases of SolidWorks is to have a unique .sldreg settings file via the "Copy Settings Wizard" for each version of SolidWorks. With the installation of SW2014 and SW2015 I discovered in the Registry Editor (regedit) that the "Copy Settings Wizard" folder is at the same level as the folders for "SolidWorks 2014" and "SOLIDWORKS 2015" (please see attachment). This prevents me from assigning the "solidworks 2014 settings.sldreg" file to SW2014 and the "solidworks 2015 settings.sldreg" to SW2015. If I go into SW2014 and restore the settings to "solidworks 2014 settings.sldreg" and exit, everything looks great. If I then go into SW2015 and restore the settings to "solidworks 2015 settings.sldreg" and exit, everything looks great here too. Unfortunately, if I return to SW2014 the settings have been changed from "solidworks 2014 settings.sldreg" to "solidworks 2015 settings.sldreg." This is because the "Copy Settings Wizard" folder in the Registry Editor is at the same level of the "SolidWorks 2014" and "SOLIDWORKS 2015" folders.

One possible fix is to create a "Copy Settings Wizard" folder in the Registry Editor under the "SolidWorks 2014" and "SOLIDWORKS 2015" folders pointing to the proper .sldreg file. Am I able to modify/change where SolidWorks looks for the "Copy Settings Wizard" folder? If so, what and where is this file? If this is not doable, is there another fix someone can think of? I am running Windows 8.1.
