Due to how 2D and 3D communicate, I am finding that the best way to manage tees in a hydraulic system is to include them in the schematic.  This could make the drawing very messy, so it was suggested to me by our sales rep tech support that I 'hide' the symbols within the drawing by essentially making them blend in...so my "tee" would simply be two red lines and hidden connection points so it disappears into the background of the drawing but allows me to associate the connections in 3D.

This seemed like a great idea until I tried it.

No matter what I do to the line type within the symbol, it does not change the appearance of the lines.  To confuse matters even further, there are two, count 'em two entries for line thickness.  One is a text entry for which I have entered a range of values from 0.5mm (equivalent to my working lines) all the way up to 100,000mm...just because when adjusting to 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm and 10mm I saw no change and thought I should just enter something big.  Even at 100,000mm line thickness, there is NO CHANGE to the appearance of the lines in either the symbol editor or on the schematic itself.

The second option is a drop-down menu which has a range of pre-set values.  I tried each of these and none of them had any impact to the line thickness.

What am I missing?
