I am trying to standardize components, making them plug and play for multiple assemblies. I want to be able to insert my common component or common assembly into my master assembly and have it automatically cut a clearance hole and/or screw holes automatically. The "common components" are being mounted to a simple plate. I don't want to have to go into the master assembly, edit the plate, and manually add extrusion cuts for each and every part that is mounted to it. It seems there should be an easy way to set a the common model so that every time it is added to an assembly it automatically adds a predefined cut through the baseplate. This may simply not be possible, but I am hoping it is.
