Hi,
This is only my third project in SWE, and the first where I'm trying to accurately show my power distribution using terminal block. Normally I would just ignore the terminal blocks and show the wires as straight connections, but I decided to try and figure out how SWE handles terminal blocks...
I'm trying to mimic my physical cabinet setup in the schematic:
When I set up a PLC panel I typically use 3 level terminal blocks. The bottom level is jumped together and runs my DC common, the second level is jumped together and runs my 24VDC, and the third level is left independent. That's where I run the IO points. I find this handy, anywhere I want to plug in an input/output I've got power and common in the same place in the panel if I need it.
I created a terminal strip in SWE with 32 terminals destined for two 16 point IO cards. I bridged all the level 1's together and all the level 2's together. All of that seems to be ok. The problem seems to be in the default way SWE assumes I want things connected, it defaults the connection to level 1. Is it possible to force it to connect to level 3?
