I am working with a large assembly of a vehicle with some equipment on it. I am trying to display the vehicle with only parts of it highlighted. I do not want to change the transparency of the assembly at all or lose the appearances. Basically I want the part that I want to emphasis to look normal and the other parts of the assembly to look dim around it. I will need to do this for different parts on the vehicle as I render different images so I it would be nice to be done quickly at the assembly level (all of my appearences are on the parts).
