I have a cable assembly which has wires as parts of that assembly.  Now I want to be able to link an annotation note in a drawing to the display state name of the wires which is the color of those wires.  Due to no way to link a display state names in drawings.  Do you know a way to do this using a API?  It would be even better if you could create my own note that I can drag onto the drawing attaches to "Component Display States" name.  Is there sample code somewhere to be able to creat your own "component" that can be added to the toolbars?

Sometimes I create a main assembly which has the cable assembly as a sub-assembly which would like to be able select if wnat main assembly or sub-assembly's "Component Display States" name.
