I was playing around with Sunlight and Solar Access Study this weekend. I noticed something that's a bit of an annoyance. There does not seem to be a way to save a new location with longitude and latitude. This was especially annoying since I had to re-enter my location 3 times for various reasons. Since I don't live close to any of the 14 predefined locations, I needed to find my location on the internet, and copy and paste. I'm sure the predefined locations are stored in a text file somewhere. Anyone have any idea where I can find it?
Here's a tip - Don't forget Magnetic Declination when figuring out the North direction. It adds 4.3 degrees for me. Although I still can't precisely match the shadow location on my back porch, it's pretty close.
