probably a more simple question which i was unable to solve:

I sucessfully made a thermal simulation (static and transient, all fine so far).

Now i want to plot the temperatures following a line to have a temperature profile along that line for each timestep in the simulation (see my example below with the simulation result). Is there a simple way to do this ?

Plotting temperature of certain elements over time is not a problem but all i want to have is a graph showing the 1D temperature distribution along a selected line. Manually selecting single positions seems to be rather tedious and does not lead to a T vs x plot. Unfortunately the position can only be chosen via the cursor and not by entering the exact x/y/z position.
