I tried to export values from the equation manager, but that did not work. The error message said that they could not be link, because the variables in the equation manager were equal to variables and not numbers. Is there a way around this problem? or am I doing this wrong? My goal is to have a drawing sheet with my front view (flatten sheet metal) and an Isometric view of it folded up. I know that Solidworks had sheet metal tools, but I found out about them after I had already finished my work. I tried converting my flat part to sheet metal and then folding, but that would then mess up my layers, drawing dimension and drawing relations. I think that creating a copy of my part (for the Iso view) that is linked to the original's equation manager or design table would be a simple solution.
