I have a macro which can insert a part into an assembly.  This part may have configuration publisher configurations.  When a part is inserted with this macro, the configuration publisher icon never appears, so the configuration must be chosen manually (there are over 500 to choose from, so it's cumbersome).  The configuration publisher will never appear for this part as long as it's in the assembly; the only way to get it to show up is to delete the part and insert it via the Insert command or dragging in from the Vault. 

Does anyone know of a way to have configuration publisher show up on parts inserted via a macro?
