I need to fit a roughly rectangular piece of sheetmetal onto a weldment. In order for it to fit properly, it must be "cupped"slightly along both directions of the panel. (The cupping is about 4 inches along a length of 60 inches).I have found that the flex command allows me to manipulate the solid body showing me at the same time the need to elongate it to fit properly after welding it to the other members.

My question is directed at those who have used FLEX in this way. How close (percentage?) might I expect it to be? I have read toher comments that suggest that it was not meant for sheet metal, but it works so why not use it if you don't need super accuracy?
