Is there anyway I can turn off the ''omnipresent" view of holes and sketches in assembly?

From the image attached, we can see that the holes sketch lines of components within an assembly are shown even if they are behind a solid body. im drawing a whole room here, the sketches are on some tables and shelfs and the holes from a turntable in the second image.

It is not only distracting but incurs additional computation cost if I have LOTS of these lines all over. Can I have them just stay where they are (behind something) and not show up?
