Looking for the "Best Practice" when using the hole wizard feature in an assembly. For example I have a sheet meatl part without holes that I would like to use in different assembelies with different hole patterns. Using the hole wizard feature in the assembly seems to work as it only creates the holes in the part in the assembly while leaving the part file without holes. My question now is how do I create a drawing of just that part showing the different hole patterns created in my various assemblies?
Part A (without holes)
used in
Assembly A - (Using Hole wizard) - Need to create a part drawing showing that specific hole pattern without showing the other assembly items
Assembly B - (Using Hole wizard) - Need to create a part drawing showing that specific hole pattern without showing the other assembly items
I am wondering if there is a way to create different part files based on the different hole patterns created using hole wizard in the assembly.
