I’ve run into an issue with the Hole Series feature in SolidWorks and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this or found a workaround.

When I use a part in an assembly that already contains a Hole Wizard hole (created in the part file), the Hole Series feature correctly identifies and uses that hole to propagate the series through mating components — no problem there.

However, when I create a mirrored or opposite-hand version of the same part (using the "Mirror Part" feature and enabling the option to copy Hole Wizard data), the Hole Series feature doesn’t recognize the existing hole in the mirrored part. It acts like there’s no valid hole feature at all, even though the geometry and metadata appear to be the same.

Has anyone faced this issue? Is there a known limitation with Hole Series and mirrored parts?
Would appreciate any tips, workarounds, or confirmation from others.
