Hi, I'm new to the forum, and hopefully I can find some help here

I'm currently trying to set a model where I need to make some holes between two parts in my assembly in order to apply some smart fasteners. The problem is that I just want the linear pattern of the hole series to happen between certain steps, where the "L" supports meet the tubular profile. I've tried to linear pattern the sketch of the hole series but it doesn't seem to work. I've also tried to make the holes with the hole wizard at Part level, and then try to create the hole series using existent holes but it doesn't seem to work with a linear pattern of a Hole Wizard. 

I would really appreciate if someone could help me.
