High density of lines print out black

Hello all,

Solidworks version 2012 sp5

At the company I work at we only have the choice of A or B size paper so everything is scaled way down.

(after years of pointing out this issue no funding for a larger format printer has ever happened... oh well)

In drawings I run into issues of areas of high line density that when printed show up as almost black.

Is there an easy way to assign a line weight (thickness) to a group of lines?

Any command I am missing or can anyone know of macro that will help.

I have used other cad packages that have commands in the drawing package that allow you to select a line (seed) and copy

It's format (style, color, weight, etc...) to other lines or arcs with click or window select.

It can be very time consuming to manually select each line one by one and change the weight.

Please Help!!

Thanks Mike
