Hi, I need to create an isometric drawing of a fairly large assembly. It's a large container with equipment and piping in it etc. Now I would like to create the iso with the roof and front surfaces of the container (which is drawn as a part) hidden. I can't find that option, only to hide the whole part / component but not selected surfaces of the model.
So far I've found two workarounds. One is to edit the part file of the container. Surpress those Boss-extrudes that make those two walls and then make the drawing from this. This causes some problems because mates and body-move/copy's are also surpressed which causes all sorts of strange stuff to happen.
The second workaround is to create a front view, then create a section view right at the top (looking down) and then hide the front view. Problem here is that I have extra views (which are hidden but still add data). Some parts inside the container are attached to the roof, making a section view will create a hatch and I don't want that.
Anybody can help me out here?
Thanks!
Robert
