Hello, I'm using solidworks 2016 and can't hide lines or annotations.

I checked online and in every explanation they direct you to the 'Hide/Show Annotations' and 'Hide/Show Edges' buttons.

But these do not show up when I right-click on a line/annotation.

So I went to the customize toolbar menu and found those buttons and added them manually to my left toolbar,

but they don't work.

I select lines and the 'Hide/Show Edges' button is just dead.

Please help me figure out what's wrong
