I'm trying to loft the sketches shown below and the issue I am having is that the part where it picks up like the neck of the object, it won't let me loft the whole thing. The one in the images is 2 parts. I would much rather like to have it as 1 smooth loft.

Also, as shown in the pics I want to put connect the open space (circled in red) and put a fillet in there. I'm not sure how I could extend this after the loft is done? Any suggestions would be great.
