for the past few days i have been attempting to do somthing.

i want to project my regular sketch onto this cylinder, thing is i dont want to use a spline and i dont want a closed sketch.

i want to be able to use this a a guide to sweep cut at a tangent with the cylinder.

I have tried the wrap feature but it is not a closed sketch. i have also tried the split line and project cure feature but it is not a spline so did not work.

please help, thanks. any questions just ask!
