I am trying to draw a thin walled pipe with a thin flat peice of metal traveling down the inside from end to end in a helix.  I dont know how to basically extrude the helix into a peice of sheet metal.   After that I need to make a spiral pattern around the inside of the tube and mirror it so its about 8 or so cross hatching helixes... Does this make sense?  I could use some help getting started with this, I already have the helix I want BTW.  Thanks!
