I'm making a clamshell right now. I'm having trouble figuring out how I could pattern a cut around a curve.

On the smaller "dome" side is where I'm talking about. I need to keep that cut going along that curve but cannot figure out how to. I have attached a file if that helps anyone help me figure this out.
