Any suggestions on how I can align the button-head screws with the holes in the panel?

I realize that perhaps part of the problem stems from the fact that I cut the holes from the Right Plane through a loft-bend sheet metal panel creating "weird" shaped holes which are not perpendicular to the curved panel surface which actually tapers from back to front and top to bottom.
