Hatch color by layer not depicting color in all cases - any ideas as to why?

The following images are on the same exact layer and created the same exact way. I cannot show any more detail for the imagery than I have.

Image 1 and 2. The layer color is not supposed to be black, but the line type and size is correct for the hatch and layer I have selected.

Image 3, all is correct. Same layers as all the other images. Same drawing and sheet.

Image 4 is also not correct.

Driving me bonkers.
