i think it has.

we've been using SWX for almost ten years now, upgrading every year until 2010. but the releases of the past three years have been a bummer - featurewise. and with features i mean geometry and surface features, not heart and star shaped balloons. and before you think it's our inability to create complex surfaces, look at some stuff we do in SWX.

yes, most of the time we find a solution to our complex modeling tasks, but sometimes we have to remodel our parts five times until we achive curvature continuity on all surfaces. we tried the geometryworks add-on, had some success, but thought this feature set should be a part of the standard SWX package (we have SWX professional plus simulation prof)

what i really would like to see is a catia imagine and shape functionality, or  t-splines for swx. i looked at inventor's integration of alias design' with envy.

or at least give SWX users the ability to upgrade to catia without loosing the whole investment

when was the last time you have been wowed by a SWX release? honestly. (and don't get me started on the whole cloud fart)
