I'm trying to capture Solidworks 2015 (service pack doesn't matter to me) with VMware App Volumes and have run into the same issue that is documented in this VMware forum: Solidworks 2014 | VMware Communities .

The Solidworks installer tries to create a firewall rule (and succeeds) but because of the way that the App Volume capture works, Solidworks can't verify that the rule was created and fails with no option to continue.

Is anyone aware of a way to install Solidworks without trying to create the firewall rules or continue the installation when it can't verify the rule creation?
