Has anyone else experienced problems with 2012 after install of 2013 beta?

It may be a coincidence but I ran into a wee bit of a problem after installing 2013 beta. In 2013 I was writing a vba macro. Seemed to work ok in 2013 so I decided to check it out under 2012...

2012 had become really slow. It took about 20 seconds to start(normally just a few). Creating a new part to 10 or so seconds. New sketch on top plane took 30 seconds or so. Creating sketch entities took forever.

I tried uninstalling all versions of SWX and reinstalling just 2012. No go. Repair 2012. No go.

I noticed in the Windows Application event log the following error.

Faulting application name: swVBAServer.exe, version: 20.4.0.64, time stamp: 0x4fd2cc85

Faulting module name: VBE6.DLL, version: 6.0.84.35, time stamp: 0x36e7ab08

Exception code: 0xc0000005

I tried unregistering vbe6.dll and deleted the file. Next time I started SWX the .dll was recreated and SWX is back to full speed! Unfortunately I can't get the VBA editor to start.. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is VBA 7 to blame for my troubles?
