I'm new to SolidWorks, using the Maker version on my PC.
I can make a drawing from a Part, save the drawing, and print it. I can make a drawing from an Assembly, but SolidWorks hangs up when I try to save the drawing. It sits with a little spinner. I have to go to Task Manager to end SolidWorks.
Thee is a SolidWorks subprocess in Task Manager called "splash" that stops responding when I try to save a drawing made from an Assembly. I have no idea what that subprocess is.
Any ideas regarding what is going on?
Thanks!
