Guitar Amp Turret Board Layout and Best Way to Do Schematic

I am working on a clone of a Vox guitar amp

I want to know what is the best way to layout my schematic in order to achieve the ideal layout in 3D when I route wires based on the SWE 2D schematic.

I have drawn the schematic in a traditional way using resistors and capacitors and symbols I have made to represent the vacuum tubes/valves.

However would it be better to do a schematic based on the layout of wires in the actual amp. (see an example of a Tube Depot layout diagram from a different amp below).

Most of the resistors and caps are soldered between two terminal strips on a board, (see photos below).

The tricky part will be working out how to represent soldered connections between turret posts for resistors and capacitors etc. I dont think you can connect two components together without a wire in between, (or would a connector pin symbol placed up against a terminal symbol work for this?).

I have created smart resistors and caps with C Points for e.g. but how would you connect two resistors in series WITHOUT a wire in between them, so that this routes correctly in the 3D assy? The reason I need to be able to do this is that some resistors for example connect directs to the pins on the valve sockets or several come together on a small terminal strip separate to the turret board.

See render of 3D assy so far where I have placed resistors at their correct positions on the board.

The route wires works OK in this instance where the circuit connects components together as the wires route between the C Points, however on the board layout note there are solid wire links between some of the turret posts which connect various resistors and caps together where they mount side by side on the board. When I run route wires the ends of the resistors connect correctly but I dont need these wires in the actual amp. They are a good guide though to check placement of the solid wire links between posts since some of the photos of the actual amp make it hard to identify where these links are.

At the moment the turret posts do not have C Points and the solid wires dont either. Neither of these components are shown in the schematic as I have drawn it so far.

So am I approaching this the right way in terms of SWE, (traditional circuit diagram) and the 3D routing OR should I draw the schematic more like a line diagram but using single wires (not cables) to represent the actual layout in the 2D schematic. Thus I would have all the resistors etc laid out side by side and use wires in the 2D diagram to connect them together as they appear inside the amp?
