Hello, this is my first time posting here and I'm hoping you guys can help me understand how this error message relates to my part.

I have used lofted bosses with guide curves before and SolidWorks gave me no trouble at all! It was very easy, really.

This time, SolidWorks keeps insisting that my guide curves are invalid because they do not intersect the base sketch, if I am understanding correctly. As I said, when I've used this feature before I didn't have to do anything special to make SolidWorks understand that the guide curves intersected the sections. As long as they were coincident, SolidWorks was happy.

So I double checked the endpoints. Yes, they match up perfectly. I added pierce relations at all four endpoints. Doesn't help. I'm not actually sure what pierce relations actually do that are different from coincident relations, but I've seen references to using them specifically to make guide curves work, so I tried it.

I'm not really even sure what to try next. My recurring complaint with SolidWorks is always that when it refuses to do something, the error messages doesn't explain a damn thing. I have NO idea what's wrong, and I always have to plug the error message into Google to find out what other people have said about it. This time, Google doesn't seem to be directing me to any discussions that address this specific problem, so I'd really appreciate some insight from you guys.
