I understand that SW will begin supporting graphics cards for only 3 years.  Can someone please explain the ramifications of that to this poor dumb redneck?  Maybe SW has released a blog post or something about it that someone could link to?

Surely SW won't suddenly stop working if graphics cards are older than 3 years?  Does it just mean that they won't test graphics cards older than 3 years to make sure they work with new SW versions, or they won't test new driver updates, or something else?  I guess what my question boils down to is "How does this affect me?"

And please try to keep the Dassault bashing to a minimum.  There's enough of that going on in other Discussions.  I'd like this one to be limited to information for me and other users who are less than completely informed about hardware, and computer components in general.
