Hello All,

When we save as a SolidWorks assembly file to a step file and save it at a local drive.

And then when we open the step file in SolidWorks, multiple files are created in the folder as .sldprt and .sldasm.

Is there any way to restrict the automatic generation of generic part and assembly files in the folder?

We have tried to save the assembly files to .sldprtt initially and then save it as step file, then the step file generated has surfaces in it.

But we require a solid step file.

Please suggest
