In my PDM I have drawings linked to CAD models, as well as non-dimension specifications in word documents connected to the drawings as references. In other words, a drawing is defined both by the CAD model that it pulls geometry from and a document with other specifications about the component. In each drawing there is an inclusion table with the part number of the specification doc to make clear that this document is required to fully define the component.
Thus far, I have been manually inserting these inclusion tables. What I would like is some kind of conditional table that will appear only if there is a document attached as a reference with the part number of that document. Is there a way to do this, or if not is there some way to at least partially automate this process? Trying to cut down on user error in the uniformity of the way that we communicate information.
