Just a general measurements question... I have a 5/16" thick piece of steel with a 90 degree bend. There is obvious deformation from the bending process. My question is, what is the proper way to measure this part? is the part technically non-conforming if the width at the bend it is not within .844 +/- tol? same question would apply to the .422 +/- tol.
